The McCormick Writing Initiative
With heartfelt generosity from the McCormick Family Foundation, the McCormick Writing Initiative was launched to establish and support a writing center at Holy Child Academy.
This exciting initiative is designed to nurture talented writers and create a space for literary innovation among our students by reimagining and renovating our library into a modern, writing facility.
Genine and Michael McCormick have been long-standing champions of academic excellence at HCA and have deep roots in our community. Genine McCormick chaired the HCA Board of Trustees, and all three of her children are proud graduates of Holy Child.
The McCormick Family Foundation kicked off the 2024-25 academic year with a generous gift of $50,000, which was used for the following:
- Empowering our faculty with top-tier educational tools and cutting-edge training resources
- Upgrading ELA and writing curriculum for our students
- Providing leveled libraries for our children
- Inviting an award-winning author to visit with our students
Our Vision
