Library
The Mother Mary Gabriel Library was built in 1987, as an addition to Connelly Hall. It is a large library for a small school, airy and bright, providing a pleasing setting for exploration of literature and study materials.
Our library is divided into four sections. The upper level is a reference section, and some Middle School classes are held there. The lower level has a cozy “story pit” for preschoolers and a glass room for quiet study, reading, or an extra teaching space. The main level hosts much of the collection and the librarian’s work space.
The library is staffed by one full-time librarian who is assisted at times by parent volunteers
In the summer of 2010 the library was refurbished, the final project of the capital campaign, Crossing the Threshold. It was re-carpeted, repainted, and many furnishing were replaced.
